Constrained Redistricting Program

The League's first presentation of our "Constrained Redistricting" program to the Democratic Caucus of the General Assembly this morning was a great success. Fifteen legislators and 10 staff people attended.

Jennifer Bremer presented a slide show explaining the proposal and answered questions from the legislators. Representative Verla Insko arranged for the room in the Legislative Office Building and invited the legislators. Brenda Rogers and Beverly Kawalec provided logistical support.

We were all very pleased with the interest and attention of the legislators. It was an encouraging beginning to our state League project funded by our national League grant.
