Here is how you begin

  • Get information from our weekly "EVoter" email by clicking the 'Newsletter' menu item on the left,
  • Become a member by clicking 'Join' at the top of the page, 
  • Attend meetings from our League Calendar below (meetings are often virtual),

We are responsible for advocating on the local level on issues of importance to our members. Any advocating done by the committee must be in agreement with local, state and national positions. The committee is also responsible for the development and implementation of the general membership meetings, public forums, and any other educational event held by the League of Women Voters of Metropolitan Columbus.

We are responsible for all voter service activities such as the Voter Information Bulletin, Speaker’s Bureau, voter registration drives, election protection efforts, planning local candidate forums and all special voter service projects.

We are responsible for assisting the Board and its committees with external communications that announce, report, react, promote and advocate on behalf of LWVMC. Also responsible for the LWVMC website and social media.
