South County League held a tea Nov. 6th to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the women's right to vote.  A sold out crowd at the Ocean House was greeted by President Christine MartonePast President Nina Rossomando introduced the  keynote speaker South County Tea (3) Rob Rock, RI Director of Elections, speaking about voting in RI, and South County Tea (4) Amy Grzybowski, Director of the Westerly Education Center who spoke about the center's program to assist women to enter trades typically filled by men.  Christine Martone recognized Representatives Gregg Amore and Brian Newberry and Senator Valarie Lawson for their advocacy for the Civics Literacy Act which passed in the 2020 legislative session.
