On Women's Day during Women's History Month, take a look back at some of the women who fought for Women's Suffrage in Rhode Island. Our thanks to all the people who worked hard to bring these stories to light during the Centennial Celebration of the 19th Amendment, especially RIC professor, Dr. Elisa Miller, who coordinated RI contributions to an online database with the stories of around 60 RI Suffragists, and Russell DeSimone who tirelessly researched and promoted the stories of Suffragists in RI for the Centennial.
