Public Policy Meeting: Reflections and Lessons from the Election

The League of Women Voters of the Columbia Area presents an elections summary for the November Public Policy Meeting.  Dr. Scott Huffmon will provide reflections and analysis of the 2020 General Election.  Professor of Political Science as well as Founder and Director of the Social & Behavioral Research Laboratory at Winthrop University, Dr. Huffmon also directs the Winthrop Poll initiative. His commentary on poll results, South Carolina Politics, and southern and national politics in general have been featured in national and international news outlets including CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, NBC Nightly News, ABC News, The New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, the LA Times, The Miami Herald, Politico.com, The News Hour (PBS), NPR, BBC, AFP (Agence France-Presse), Tokyo Broadcasting System, and many more.

The session will take place via Zoom on Thursday, November 19 at 7pm.  Registration is required; the Zoom link will be distributed the day prior to the event.
