68th Annual Black History Tea: Sunday, February 26, 2023 at 4 pm in the Seneca River Association Family Life Institute, 298 S. Poplar St, Seneca, SC. The keynote speaker is Mr. Adrian Mayes, Assistant Principal at the Hughes Academy of Science and Technology, Greenville, SC. Find more information PDF icon here

Clemson University will be holding several events featuring the story of Anthony Ray Hinton., who spent thirty years on death row for a crime he did not commit. Events include: Wrongful Conviction, Equal Justice, Prison Reform: Panel Discussion, March 8, 4:00 p.m. in Watt Innovation Center Auditorium; Bang on the Bars: Ray Hinton Lecture in Law and Humanities, March 9, 5:30 p.m. in Watt Innovation Center Auditorium; and “Just Mercy” Film Screening, March 9, 7:00 p.m. in McKissick Theater.
