It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as your Co-President and President these last four years. It has been a time of transition and taking the initiative and facing very real challenges. Being President of the LWVDV is a strenuous role, yet it is so rewarding to be part of building a vision together and building functional teams working together to strengthen our democracy.

April 19 - 30 were the Secretary of State’s High School Voter Education Weeks, which are provided to ensure that our young people are offered opportunities to understand the importance of civic engagement in maintaining a democracy.
