This Voter covers both June and July, so look for additional information on the website to be sure you’re up to date. We’ll be posting reports from our LWVC Convention delegates sometime in the next few weeks. Meanwhile . . .

  • Be sure to RSVP and come to Annual Meeting – members should come to help us get a quorum, and everyone should come to hear our speaker Lynn Mackey, County Superintendent of Schools.
  • If you’re a new or new-ish member, you’re invited to a coffee and orientation on June 29th in Concord.
  • Mark your calendars for two important meetings in August – LWV Bay Area’s Women’s Equity workshop on August 17th, and LWVDV’s monthly meeting on Wildfire issues on August 24th.
  • Read what Martha and Suzan have to say as Martha steps down from serving as LWVDV Co-President. And follow Martha in one of her new activities, as observer of the Antioch Unified School District.
  • Catch up on recent activities, including our Census 2020 meeting in Pittsburg (including presentation links) and a successful voter registration and education effort, with kudos!
  • And give some kudos to yourself if you responded to recent LWVC Action Alerts on redistricting and voter registration – see how successful they were!

You’ll probably want to dig into the print version this month – there are a few extra items tucked around the edges.
