Our combined November/December Voter is full of everything we’ve been doing, plus some fun things to do in the next couple of months!

  • Co-Presidents Suzan Requa and Martha Goralka report on all the voter service we did this election season, with extra comments by Kay James, Marian Shostrom and Leslie Stewart on key components of our activities
  • We’re planning to discuss and celebrate all of this at a post-election get-together on Saturday, November 17 at the Concord Library – join us!
  • LWV California had some legislative successes to brag about!
  • Don’t forget to RSVP for our holiday party – and tell us what goodies you’re bringing to share!
  • Speaking of the holidays, that list of book recommendations from our August meeting is here for you to check out for gifts and wish lists! (And if you want some interesting and free reading, check out the Bay Area Monitor and the new Monitor Notes from the LWV Bay Area!)
  • LWVUS tells us about a proposal to issue a 19th Amendment coin set, and how you can support this effort.
  • In the print Voter only, there is a selection of recent successes around the country – on voter suppression, gerrymandering and more -  posted by LWVUS in regular email updates (you can sign up for these here!)

We're no longer putting out the Voter as a single email -- most of the information is here on the website (follow the links). You can download the PDF version below.
