D.E.I. Book Study Discussion Series: The Sum of Us
As part of the LWV's focus on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), the League of Women Voters of Delaware has announced a book study discussion series on The Sum of Us by Heather McGhee, to run from January through May 2022. Participants will read two chapters per month, share their experiences with the book’s elements, and seek to answer the question “Who Are We as Americans?” Participants may attend one, several, or all sessions. Sessions are open to both League of Women Voters members and the general public.
This series will be held each second Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. and fourth Thursday at 7:00 p.m., for the first five months of 2022. These will be 45-minute sessions moderated by LWVDE Vice President Kathleen Baker, held virtually by Zoom web conference.
Those interested should register for both recurring Zoom sessions: Second Tuesdays and Fourth Thursdays.

Moderator Kathleen Baker chairs the Education Portfolio of the LWVDE Advocacy Corps. A retired National Board Certified Teacher, she is a named Living Legend of Alexandria, Virginia, and moderates the Browseabout Book Club, sponsored by Browseabout Books of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
