2025 City of Newark Election
The city election is to be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. Polls open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 p.m. A form of identification will be required of all voters. For absentee ballots, please contact the City Secretary's Office at (302) 366-7000.
Two additional council seats were open in 2025. Corinth Ford in District 2 and Dwendolyn Creecy in District 4 have no opponents running and will automatically re-assume their seats for another 2-year term.
