Proposing a More Robust and Resonant Criminal Justice Position for Delaware

Presentation and discussion of the the LWV of California social justice position to the LWVDE membership. The LWVDE Criminal Justice Committee is working towards a possible concurrence by our League membership adopt this position by early January, when the General Assembly reconvenes with 13 Criminal Justice bills pending. Leaders of the California Study will present ot our membership.

The strength of the League lies in connecting our community to governmental agencies to shape policy reforms. League advocacy stems directly from the Position Statements we adopt as an organization. We need member participation in the concurrence process to ensure that our adopted positions reflect the thinking of our membership.
