Four Delaware leaders will be guest panelists in a lively conversation for League Days 2021 sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Delaware on Wednesday, March 10 at 1:30 p.m. via Zoom.

Dan Rich, University Professor of Public Policy, University of Delaware; Bernice Edwards, Director, First State Community Action Agency; Ed Ratledge, Director of the UD Center for Applied Demography and Survey Research; and Bill Collick, Legendary Coach and Member of the Cape Henlopen School Board, will discuss “Education Perspectives and Intersections – Policy Reforms, the Education Equity Lawsuit Settlement, and Boots on the Ground” with Moderator Kathleen Baker of the League's Education team. League members and the public are invited, and comments and questions will be welcomed. The session concludes at 3:00 p.m.

The General Assembly is now considering legislation for Opportunity Funding and other supports for children as a result of the recent Education Equity Lawsuit Settlement. This session is part of LWV's work to encourage public inquiry and discussion about the future of Pre-K-12 public education in Delaware.
