Community Protest Opportunities and Events
Although the activities and events listed on this page are not League-sponsored or League-endorsed, the title of this page is a nod to LWV's "Unite and Rise 8.5" initiative. LWVDE provides this event listing in the certainty that now, more than ever, it is important for all Americans, including League members, to *show up* and make their voices heard.
Since these are not League events, LWVDE is not responsible for the messaging or outcomes of these activities. The League supports the First Amendment right of the people to gather and engage in peaceful protest.
