The Advocacy Corps meeting for January 2025 has been moved to the third Wednesday of the month to allow greater attendance. Many AC members are attending other events (Spotlight Delaware's Legislative Summit in Dover, or former President Jimmy Carter's funeral in Washington, DC) on January 8th, the normal second Wednesday timeslot this month.

The League of Women Voters of Delaware Advocacy Corps (legislative lobby group) normally meets the second Wednesday of each month by Zoom web conference. Meeting start time varies depending on the time of year, to work around General Assembly session times.

What is the Advocacy Corps?

The AC monitors the activities of the Delaware Legislature as it conducts the state’s business. We support or oppose legislative and administrative proposals in accordance with League policy positions and offer testimony in person at hearings, when possible, and electronically when necessary.
