LWVDE's Summer Book Club 2026 will be on Tuesday nights from 6 to 7:30pm, every two weeks from June 16 to August 11, 2026. We will be reading Abundance by Ezra Klein and Derek Thompson. We will also spend some of our time discussing On Tyranny by Timothy Snyder and how it relates to current events and the ideas in Abundance.

- July 14, 2026 - Chapter 3: Govern, pages 101-128

- August 11, 2026 - Chapter 5: Deploy, pages 169-202)
- (Conclusion: Toward Abundance, pages 169-222)

Please be sure to register by Zoom (even if you cannot attend all meetings), since Tiffany will be using just the registration list to communicate concerning book club going forward.
LWVDE encourages you to get your books from an independent bookstore, bookshop.org or a local library (both books are also on Libby in e-book and audio).
Through our book club, we aim to create a platform for both League members and non-members to learn, speak openly, share ideas and experiences, and promote inclusivity and diversity. We look forward to a summer of great discussions!
