The League of Women Voters of Connecticut (LWVCT) along with Connecticut Public (CT Public) presents a weekly series of political debates between the key candidates in advance of the midterm November 2022 elections, including debates for the statewide offices of Governor and Secretary of the State, as well as U.S. Senate and Connecticut’s five U.S. Congressional districts.

This year on National Voter Registration Day, the League of Women Voters of Connecticut invites you to the Connecticut Capitol to get registered to vote and celebrate the women of color in the fight for voting rights both in the 19th century and today. Join us for a special plaque unveiling ceremony honoring these women and view the traveling exhibit - "The Work Must Be Done: Women of Color and Voting Rights".

New Canaan’s 2022 Municipal Election is on Tuesday, November 8th. The League of Women Voters of New Canaan will host the annual Candidates Debate as a virtual livestream October 20th. Further details will be announced in the coming days. Stay tuned!
The Redding LWV will be hosting candidate debates on Tuesday, Nov. 1 from 7-9 pm at the Redding Community Center. This is an in-person event and will be broadcast live through Facebook.
