Please join the Wilton League of Women Voters, along with co-sponsor the Miller-Driscoll Parent Teacher Association, in a conversation with a panel of fellow Wiltonians who will share their personal stories of why they wanted to serve the town and how they went about doing it. The event will be held in person at the Little Theater and will also be viewable via Zoom link. Refreshments will be available following the program.
In honor of Women’s History Month, the Commission on Women, Children, Seniors, Equity & Opportunity has put together a jam-packed presentation you won’t want to miss, entitled “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Economic Power & Well-Being,” focusing on the progress our state has made on key issues important to the progress of women, and the next steps we hope to see.

Join the Wilton LWV and The Wilton Library for a Town Hall with Wilton Town Administrator Matt Knickerbocker. Matt will speak about his work in implementing the mission of streamlining Town operations and finding new efficiencies. He will also briefly touch on the history of the classic New England “town meeting” form of government and the highly interconnected functions that exist between public, private and civic organizations that help it function successfully. Open to the public, registration requested.
Connecticut passed their new state House and Senate district plans in November 2021. Each passed unanimously in their 9-person bipartisan Reapportionment Commission; however, the process has been criticized for legislators controlling the process and for the negotiations that serve to protect incumbents. The League of Women Voters of Connecticut asked Kyle Evans of Trinity College and Catherine T. Chang of the University of Washington to provide analyses of the new maps.
