On September 17, LWV Wheaton was honored and happy to be at the naturalization ceremony at Cantigny Park. The League helped welcome a new group of citizens and was on hand to register new voters! Five league members volunteered their time to act as voter registrars following the naturalization ceremony. The ceremony welcomed 90 people from 30 different countries as new citizens. Thanks to the help of the The League, 25 people registered to vote and many more took home information on how to register online.
