LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS OF CONNECTICUT IS HERE FOR CT VOTERS
Let's Get Out and Vote in November!
[HAMDEN, CT - October 15, 2020] As voters across Connecticut send in their absentee ballots or make their plans to head to the polls, confusion about the election process is at an all-time high. The League has a 100-year history of getting voters the information they need to vote with confidence and this year is no different.
Virtual Event: Let's Get Out and Vote in November!
On October 20th, join LWVCT Voter Service vice president, Laura Smits and Secretary of the State, Denise Merrill as they discuss this year’s unique election: why you should vote, how you can vote and what to expect, particularly at the polls. Hear from your fellow Connecticut voters as they share what voting means to them and why it is important to vote in the 2020 Election.
To prepare for the many local races, LWVCT has prepared a wide variety of tools to help Connecticut voters make sense of the candidates, offices, and local election information.
Get personalized voting information from vote411.org. This League of Women Voters sponsored website will show voters who are on their ballot and offers other helpful information including important dates, polling information, and other details.
Review LWVCT Voting FAQs. Many of us are voting in a new way this year and the rest of us will be facing new safety protocols at our normal polling places. Concerns about voter fraud and delayed ballot counts swirling through the news and social media make things even more confusing. Connecticut can trust LWVCT to answer questions about elections accurately and in a non-partisan manner every day.
