Monday, January 6: Pickens County Council (Council Organizational Meeting and Swearing In Ceremony) in the Council Auditorium at the Administration Facility, 222 McDaniel Ave., Pickens, SC 29671 at 6 - 8 pm. Wednesday, January 7: Pickens County Board of Voter Registration and Elections Regular Board Meeting at 4:30 pm in the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) of the Pickens County Administration Building. Saturday, January 25: Legislative to Local Education Update 2025; 10:30 am - 12 pm; Central-Clemson Library Community Room; 105 Commons Way, Central, SC. Josh Malkin, SC Advocacy Director, ACLU, will talk through legislation impacting public education and libraries that have been pre-filed by lawmakers this session, and members of CAFE will discuss the local impact of legislation.
