LWV of Alachua County is honoring National Voter Registration Day (September 19th) on September 20th with a table at the Santa Fe College Constitution Week Civics Fair. This tabling event will take place in R-001 ( SFC NW Campus Map and showcases non-partisan and political organizations, civic groups, elected officials, and campaigns from around our area and invites students to engage in dialogue and get involved. The primary objective of this event is to connect SF students with volunteer, internship, and advocacy opportunities and to celebrate National Voter Registration Day! Join us to assist students with registration (training required) and voter education. We will also be collecting petitions. 

We are joining LWVFL in supporting both the Florida Right to Clean Water and the Florida's Right to Reproductive Freedom constitutional amendment campaigns. These campaigns will put both issues before the voters in the November 2024 election. The mission is to take these issues to Florida's voters; to educate voters, to collect their petitions, and to ensure their voice is heard.
