The LWVOP Education Action Committee, whose goal is to defeat unconstitutional efforts to ban books and censor curriculum/programs in our public schools and libraries, will present a panel of speakers that will address these issues. The speakers are:

Josh Malkin, Senior Advocacy Strategist, ACLU of South Carolina
Cassie Owens Moore, Librarian, Seneca Middle School and Intellectual Freedom Chair South Carolina Association of School Librarians
Reba Kruse, Advocate with Community Advocates for Education and Chair, LWVOP Education Action Committee
Holley Ulbrich, Moderator
