The League of Women Voters of Missouri Education Fund is expanding its resources to help voters across the state cast an informed ballot in the Aug. 6 primary and the Nov. 5 general election. For the partisan primary, voters will need to select a party before viewing the races. Click here for informatoin on two statewide ballot issues.

“A key part of the League’s mission is to educate voters,” says LWVMO President Marilyn McLeod. “VOTE411 is a valuable online resource with nonpartisan information on the candidates and ballot measures. For 2024, we sent a questionnaire asking all the statewide and legislative candidates to share their priorities and other key facts about their campaign.”

Absentee voting has begun for voters with an acceptable excuse. No-excuse, in-person absentee voting will begin on July 23. That new option is only available for voters with an acceptable photo ID. Voters without a government-issued photo ID can cast a provisional ballot at their polling place on Election Day that will count if the signature matches one on file.

The print version of the guide will be published in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch on Sunday, July 21, and delievered to area libraries, senior centers and other sites. To access the online voters guide, go to http://vote411.org/lwvmo.
