Jan Kay and Don Westlake, long-time members of the League of Women Voters of Wheaton, were honored by the City of Wheaton for their volunteer service to the city.  

They each received the City of Wheaton Volunteer Excellence Award. Jan has served on the Housing Commission/Commission on Aging since 1997. Donald has served since 2001 on the Band Commission, which supports the work of the Wheaton Municipal Band. More news is availabe on the Wheaton Weekly.

Jan Kay was president of the Wheaton LWV in 1993 - 95 and 2005-2009. She was awarded the Marget Hamilton Award in 2016. Don Westlake and his late wife, Helen, are long-term members of the League. Don has served on a number of committees.
