Upcoming Special-Called Meeting

A special-called meeting is scheduled for January 8, 2026.

This meeting will be held at the Central-Clemson Library, 6:00 pm, located at 105 Commons Way, Central, SC. Because this is a special-called meeting, public comments will not be taken during this session. 

Here’s what this meeting will focus on: Nomination and election of Library Board officers and selection of committee assignments.

Even though public comment won’t be part of the next two meetings, continued advocacy is more important than ever. Your presence holds Board members accountable—particularly those who have taken positions contrary to library policy—and makes it clear that the community expects responsible, policy-aligned decision-making.
