Every day too many students walk into classrooms where their teacher has quit or where there is no trained teacher to fill a critical vacancy. Students cannot “catch up” on their learning in classrooms without effective, trained teachers.
This Hillsborough event is one of more than 50 events across the country organized by a coalition of 200 pro-democracy groups, the Voter Empowerment Collaborative, to thank these unsung election heroes.
