Care about safe and fair elections? You can help make sure elections run smoothly and support your community by signing up to be a poll worker.
When you go vote, the person helping you is a worker dedicated to the election process. As front-line representatives of the Board of Voter Registration & Elections, these individuals are registered voters who serve their community and democracy with pride. Election Day is long and a great deal of work, but our poll workers are vital to making democracy work.

How to Sign Up:
If you, a family member, or a friend would like to be paid to be an election official for the November 08, 2022, General Election:
- Visit https://www.PickensElections.org to download an application;
- Send an email to Vote.Pickens [at] elections.sc.gov and request an application;
- Call us at 864-898-5948 and request an application; or
- Go to https://www.scvotes.gov and complete an online application request
Completed applications may be mailed, emailed, faxed (864-898-5637), or returned in person.
