Show Up for Affordable Homes in Downtown Menlo Park

The League of Women Voters of South San Mateo County opposes the “Downtown Parking Plazas Ordinance” ballot initiative—see our statement here.

If passed, this measure would require a public election before any new housing could be built on downtown parking lots—creating costly barriers to much-needed affordable homes.

Take Action:

• Attend the Menlo Park City Council meeting: Monday, November 4, at 6 PM.

• Can’t attend? Email city.council [at] menlopark.gov () and say you oppose the ordinance and support affordable housing in downtown Menlo Park.
