Measure A - Ravenswood City School District Bond
A "yes" vote supports issuing $70 million in bonds for the construction of classrooms.
A "no" vote opposes issuing $70 million in bonds for the construction of classrooms.
A 55% vote is required for the approval of Measure A.
The ballot title for Measure A is as follows:
"To construct classrooms for increasing student enrollment. replace aging and deteriorating portables and other buildings, provide safe schools, and qualify for State matching funds, shall Ravenswood City School District's measure authorizing $70 million in bonds, at legal rates with projected levies of $27.50 per $100,000 of assessed value, raising an estimated average $4.9 million annually for approximately 27 years, requiring audits, oversight, all funds to be spent locally and no money for salaries, be adopted?"
Measure C - Redwood City Elementary School District Parcel Tax
A "yes" vote supports levying a $25 parcel tax for eight years to fund school staff and programs.
A "no" vote opposes levying a $25 parcel tax for eight years to fund school staff and programs.
A simple majority is required for the approval of Measure C.
The ballot title for Measure C is as follows:
"To support Redwood City Elementary School District students by attracting and retaining highly qualified teachers/counselors; preserving hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math instruction; supporting quality reading and writing programs; and maintaining manageable class sizes; shall Redwood City Elementary School District's measure be adopted, levying 17.5¢ per building square foot with a cap on the total amount, or $25/unimproved parcel, providing $12,200,000 annually for 8 years, with independent citizens' oversight, senior citizen exemptions, no funds for administrators, and all funds staying local?"
