San Mateo County and the Silicon Valley Community Foundation have partnered with our league to reach out to precincts in our area with historically low turnout, some as low as 20% of registered voters. 

Please join LWVSSMC for nonpartisan text and phone banking this Saturday morning. We have call lists and sample scripts and ask that volunteers bring their phones to make around 20 calls or texts. 

After making calls,  we plan to go for coffee and chat about league activities and the upcoming election. All are invited, and we especially encourage our new members to join us and learn how to get involved.
