A lecture by Dr. Terry Wu sponsored by the LWVUS and The National Institute of Civil Discourse (NICD)
Speaking from insights gained over his 30-year career in neuroscience research, Dr. Wu presents background on the biology of how the brain works; insights into why we look at the world through the lens of Us vs. Them; and how can we bring Us and Them together. Attendees of the October 19th webinar appreciated that Dr. Wu presented complex information in such an understandable way.
Dr. Wu received his Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Vanderbilt University.
Bob Barrett, a LWVSSMC member, will introduce the lecture and moderate the Q & A.
