The League of Women Voters of Hamden-North Haven invite you to meet your legislators. This event is open to the public. Registration is encouraged but not required. There is a suggested donation of $8 for adults, $5 for students.

The League of Women Voters of Highland Park-Highwood, Illinois in partnership with Common Cause Illinois, presents a panel discussion that will cover the 2024 presidential election cycle's most critical issues: safeguarding voter rights, access to fact-based information, and discerning the validity of election information in the era of rampant misinformation and disinformation and the impact of generative AI.

To kickoff 2024, the Connecticut Freedom Trail highlights The Black Heritage Project, which celebrates the people and history of the Talcott Street Church, Hartford’s first Black church and site of Hartford’s first school for Black children. The historic Talcott Street Church site is next to Connecticut State Community College Capital’s building but remains unmarked and unnoticed. This online event is FREE and open to the general public.

Tune in to hear legislators' priorities for the spring session in Hartford and respond to questions from those attending the webinar. Need not be a member to join - family and friends also welcome!
