The Nov 5, 2024 election has completed, and the voters have spoken here in Delaware and nationwide.

Voter turnout in Delaware was 66%, up from 43% in the 2022 midterm election but not quite reaching the 70% voter turnout in 2020.

Sarah McBride is the new Delaware Representative in the U.S. Congress, and Lisa Blunt Rochester replaces the retiring Tom Carper as U.S. Senator. Former NCC County Executive Matt Meyer is our new Governor and Kyle Evans Gay Lieutenant Governor. Having reached his term limit as Governor, John C. Carney Jr will become Mayor of Wilmington.
