In recognition of Peace Week Delaware 2025 (October 11-19), representatives of six Delaware organizations will meet to discuss a collaborative approach to creating a culture of peace across DE. This Community Action Forum is sponsored by Speak Out Against Hate (SOAH), Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice (SDARJ), Sussex Pride, Non-Violent Seaford, the American Civil Liberties Union - Delaware (ACLU-DE), the Delaware Human and Civil Rights Commission, and "Let the Truth Be Told." 

The forum will explore practical strategies for identifying and addressing hateful rhetoric, supporting victims, and fostering a truly inclusive environment where everyone feels safe and valued. As we unite to affirm peace as the way, learn how you can join forces all across Sussex County and Delaware to counter hate in our state and build a culture of active nonviolence. Let's turn our collective resolve into concrete actions that build bridges and reject division.

The event takes place on Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 3 - 5 pm at the Unitarian Universalists of Southern Delaware, 30486 Lewes-Georgetown Hwy, Lewes, DE 19958. Doors open at 2:30 pm.
