Join community members and experts for a free educational forum hosted by the Sierra Club on June 16, from 6:30 - 8 pm, at the Lewes Public Library, 111 Adams Ave., Lewes, DE, 19958. This session will provide accurate information about offshore wind power development in Delaware's coastal waters, and highlights the specific benefits of offshore wind development for Sussex County residents and businesses. Speakers include: 

  • Christophe Tulou, Center for Inland Bays - Environmental impacts and benefits for our Inland Bays ecosystem
  • Mike Dunmeyer, US Wind - Job creation and economic opportunities in Sussex County
  • Evan Vaughn, MAREC Action - Understanding transmission infrastructure and energy demand growth 
  • More Speakers to Be Announced Covering Workforce Development, Health, and other topics.
