We’ll be discussing the newly-published Ghost in the Criminal Justice Machine: Reform, White Supremacy, and an Abolitionist Future*** by Emile Suotonye DeWeaver.
The book is less than 200 pages, and our meetings will be spread out to keep the reading manageable for busy summer schedules. Register in advance at the links below. We'll be sending out ongoing resources to registrants.
LWVDE recommends supporting local business by purchasing the book at a local, independent bookstore if possible. The book is available at Huxley & Hiro in Wilmington where LWVNCC held a fundraiser on May 21, shopping in person or online. The audiobook version is also available on Hoopla.
Please invite friends to register, as these book discussions are open to non-members!
