On July 17, the anniversary of Congressman John Lewis’s passing, people are taking action across the country to defend our democracy and carry forward his legacy of Good Trouble in "Good Trouble Lives On," a national day of nonviolent action. In Wilmington, there will be speakers and music at 7pm in Rodney Square.
LWV of Delaware is hosting a pre-event poster making party starting at 5pm (or 5:30, for free parking) in a private room at The Chancery food hall. We'll all get in the mood together and then walk over as a group to Rodney Square afterward. Those who want to grab a beverage or a bite to eat can do so at the food mall and bring it into our party room.
Parking: free 3-hour parking on-site at The Chancery starting at 5:30pm
