LWVVC members met at the Daytona Beach News Journal Center to view the magnificent and inspiring statue of Mary McLeod Bethune. The statue will remain available for viewing at the Center until December 12th after which it will be transported to Washington, DC where it will be installed in the Hall of Statues at the Capitol as one of two to represent the State of Florida.
