The League of Women Voters of Volusia County was honored to be the recipient of the Daytona State College Center for Women and Men’s annual community service award. Originally the award was to be presented at the Center’s annual luncheon last March which was cancelled due to the pandemic. The caption on the lovely award “Women of the Vote” reflects the League’s tireless work in the community to educate voters and prepare them to cast an informed ballot.  The Center for Women and Men exists to prepare, empower, and support a diverse student population in achieving their education, professional, and personal goals. Their mission reflects LWVVC’s commitment quality  education for all students.
