The League of Women Voters of Volusia County has only one business meeting each year: The Annual Meeting. At this meeting, our League will kick off our new business year which begins July 1 and runs until June 30. We will be electing officers, voting on changes to the by-laws and accepting our League’s Annual budget. We hope you will take this opportunity to review what we have been doing. Meet the leaders of the League who will be taking us forward and spend time with our fellow Leaguers.

Following the business part of the meeting we are so thrilled to have Claire Metz share a few insights from her 39 years at Channel 2. Claire is not just a former WESH 2 news reporter, she is also a wife, mother...and friend! Claire covered Volusia and Flagler counties since leaving the anchor desk in 2005. This is an opportunity to hear how those years of reporting all of those stories impact her now after stepping back from the camera September last year.

This year's meeting is scheduled for Saturday May 18th at Malcolm's Grill, in LPGA International golf course in Daytona Beach. The cost is $35 per person – check or cash payable at the door. RSVP: Cathy Egley by May 13 (cancellations after this deadline will be charged).
