Election season is upon us! Your Speakers Bureau wants you to be an informed voter in November. This is your chance to hear their “stump speech” on the six proposed constitutional amendments that all of us will be voting on, our most frequent request at this time of year. The League’s presentation explains the amendments, what a yes or a no vote means, and gives supporting and opposing organizations.
Lunch to follow, at The Palmetto Club for those who have pre-registered. Pre-registration is now closed. This year the League is adopting an electronic registration and payment system. This system will streamline the registration process and more importantly, protect the League’s finances. In the past, the League incurred losses when individuals reserved meals but didn’t attend or reimburse accordingly. As responsible stewards of the League’s resources, the Board decided to implement this new system to safeguard our financial health. Thanks for your willingness to adjust to this enhancement.
