This important event shared a lot of information about School Rezoning Impacts Volusia County Students and Families. Especially about school attendance zones. What are we as a district doing? When is rezoning resegregation? Come join a joint meeting of the League of Women Voters of Volusia County and the Volusia African American Leadership Council regarding the redrawing of student attendance boundaries. Information will be provided by Dr. Rachel Hazel, Deputy Superintendent, Teach, Lead, Learn, and Patricia Core, Assistant Superintendent Student Services, about each affected Volusia County School in the district, both east and west. There will be specific information on schools in the Halifax area due to League members attending meetings asking for specific data. We encourage all League members to attend.
