The unveiling of the new bronze statue of Mary McCleod Bethune at Esplanade Park on Beach Street in Daytona Beach will take place at 9am on Thursday, August 18. The statue is a replica of the marble statue of Dr. Bethune that was installed in the US capital ibon July 13.
