For the upcoming 2021 local elections, we are using VOTE411.org to get important election information to residents around the state. By Election Day 2021, VOTE411 will have ballot information for over 40 local government elections across the state, with a goal of covering all 169 local government races by 2025. We anticipate helping more than 325,000 voters in 2021. Find your town's voter guide!
Too often, people skip their local elections, believing they are less important than national and state contests. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Unlike state and national elections, local elections have much more impact on the quality of your daily life. Here’s why everyone should make the effort to vote on Tuesday, November 2nd in your city or town’s local election.
Since a District Map Plan was not approved by September 15 - as required by the Connecticut Constitution - the process has moved to the next step. A nine-member Reapportionment Commission must now develop and approve the District Map Plan. Their deadline is November 30. In the meantime, we are asking league members, friends and supporters to help shine a light on redistricting both this year and in future cycles.
