We are asking league members, friends and supporters to help shine a light on redistricting both this year and in future cycles. Please reach out to your Connecticut House and Senate members to ask that the current Reapportionment Commission conduct their business transparently and to make plans to require transparency during every Redistricting cycle.
It’s not too late to join us in calling for a fair and transparent redistricting process in Connecticut. Redistricting continues. We view protecting the right to vote and the opportunity to exercise that right as paramount for our representative democracy to survive and thrive. Due to the restrictive language in the State Constitution, we need to amend the State Constitution language in order to update our election laws. Contact your state legislators today and ask them to support Early Voting and No-Excuse Absentee Voting!
