GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.

Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.

This year, Giving Tuesday is on Tuesday November 27—so Save the Date!

One of the best ways to get participate in Giving Tuesday is right in your own community. The League of Women Voters of Wheaton is participating in Giving Tuesday this year and encouraging you to get involved, too!

Here are some ways you can get involved on GivingTuesday:

1. Make a gift to the League of Women Voters Education Fund to help support programs like our Civics Awareness Events. This gift is tax-deductible!  Donate here.
2. Support LWV Wheaton’s advocacy and lobbying efforts by making a gift to the League’s general fund. This gift is not tax-deductible.Donate here.
3. Show your support for the League of Women Voters by purchasing products from the official LWV Wheaton shop!  You'll help inspire others to join the League, get involved, and register to vote! You'll also help raise money; a portion of proceeds from all sales goes to fund our efforts. Shop here.
