Wheaton LWV is thrilled to announce we now have 100 members. Back at our Annual Meeting, we set a goal to enlist 100 members for the 100th anniversary of the League of Women Voters. Some were skeptical that we could achieve this, but we did, and it was a team effort!

Christina Albert became our 100th member in November 2019. When asked why she joined the LWV, she responded, “Voting is one of our most important rights and responsibilities as Americans, and the LWV’s efforts support this critical piece of our democracy. Young adults have great power to influence our country through elections, and I am excited to work with the LWV to ensure that everyone is able to take advantage of this opportunity.” Ms. Albert currently works as a consultant for IBM, is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and WWS High School. She volunteers as a tutor.
