This board meeting will be on a Wednesday night, an exception to the usual 1st Thursday of the month meeting.

Starting with her own family, riveting storyteller Linda Gorham shares stories of African American men and women who broke color barriers to accomplish much – often despite difficult circumstances. She will incorporate music, photographs personal narratives, quotes and historical facts to commemorate their achievements.

Join the League of Women Voters of Illinois for our annual look at current issues as well as legislation being considered in the Illinois General Assembly. Learn from legislators and nonpartisan experts—be informed and prepared so you can advocate for change in your community and state.
