- Congress.org: A non-partisan internet publication associated with Congressional Quarterly's Roll Call, Congress.org provides updating on actions in Congress.
- Congressional Documents and Debates, 1774-1875
- Congressional Record: Text of Congressional speeches and documents since 1994, a publication of the U.S. Government Printing Office.
- CRS (Congressional Research Service) Reports (Selective from 1990): CRS is the public policy research arm of Congress. This legislative branch agency works exclusively for Members of Congress, their committees and their staffs. The CRS does not provide direct public access to its reports, requiring citizens to request them from their members of Congress, but the University of North Texas provides this large, searchable, website of many reports.

- United States Government Manual: Comprehensive information on the all agencies of the Federal Government; information on quasi-official agencies; international organizations in which the United States participates; and boards, commissions, and committees.
- Vote411.org is a site maintained by the League of Women Voters to provide election information at all levels of government.
